Stuffs from overseas

Hi! I just would like to share some stuff I got from overseas. Ehem. Not that I went overseas, but a friend (Idah) went to the U.S. and got some fragrance mist for her to sell on her online store.

I know I know. It looks similar to the ones in Mustafa Centre and perhaps Lucky Plaza? I'm not sure if the ones sold at those shopping malls are the originals or not. But this one is definitely the original! From San Francisco, California. :) I've tried the ones at Lucky Plaza before, but it doesn't last long. For this one, it lasted longer!

And here's a little something Sheena bought for me all the way from Japan! :D If you don't know, I'm a fan of Rilakkuma! ^_^ Yes, I can easily get Rilakkuma in Singapore. But the price here is a little more expensive than in Japan! A Japanese friend told me that.

Comes with a lovely plastic bag! A rilakkuma plastic bag OMG! Haha! XD "Because I want to see your face with a smile".

Simple but really cute letter papers and envelopes! I think I'm going to use these to send letters to my foreign friends. I think a letter sprayed with perfume (old fashioned way) is much more valuable and exciting than technology. Hee hee! Not that I dislike technology, but you know what I mean. XD

Assumptions & Ignorance

It's funny how some people assume what kind of person I am and what I do when they barely know me. Are we even close in the first place?

Well, it actually doesn't matter how close we are. If you are not sure of something, why assume? Plus, being ignorant and not clarifying? And then trying to say it to my face as if what you've said was a fact? That's rude. As usual, people will talk a lot about someone when they barely know them. What's new? Ahh the saying,

"When people talk about you and judge you as if they know you, don’t stress about it. Just remember that dogs don't bark if they know the person."

I'm quiet and don't like talking about the things that I do, that's because I'm not a show-off. I don't need to tell the whole world, why do you have to know anyway? Nosy much?

Don't think that I can be successful? Think again. God willing, I will be there someday. Time will tell. Watch me.

Yuna Ito ♥

Hello my lovely readers. :)

I actually didn't want to post this (because it will remind me of how disappointed I was) but I guess I will now. Last week, while I was browsing through Facebook, I found out that Yuna Ito was in Singapore. It was for the "Men's Fashion Week" @ Marina Bay Sands Expo.

It broke my heart.

I'm being honest here. I almost cried. Or did I? You must be wondering, why would I cry over not being able to see Yuna Ito while she's here in Singapore? Well, that's because I'm a huge fan of her. HUGE. SE7EN and Sungha Jung was here too. And some other singers, I have no idea who else. But they're not so much of my concern. Maybe a little of Sungha Jung. Lol. But Yuna Ito!!!! Sigh.

She was introduced to me by Noreen. ^_^ I listen to her songs every night before going to sleep. Yes, EVERY NIGHT. Never got bored of her songs. She has one of the most amazing voices I've heard. Her songs are as beautiful as she is and meaningful. I can relate to her songs.

Now, can you imagine how I felt when I got to know that she was in Singapore and yet, I never knew about it? So much for being a huge fan. Sigh. Haha. And worst, she sang my favorite songs!!! O_O I really do hope that she will come here again someday. She did say this though, "I love you Singapore! I'll be back soon!" Now I better check SISTIC more often and I was thinking of joining her fanclub. I better find out more.

Her performances ♥

Interview ♥

I am hopeful. :)

Anyway, here are the list of my favorite songs by her. The songs I listen to, every night. Enjoy! ^_^

1) Precious

2) Miss You

3) Endless Story

4) Gate

5) Truth

"在一起, Together"

It's been a month since I last updated my blog. =/ I've decided to design a new layout for my blog. Inspired by Kota's blog. I love it so much. ^_^ Maybe one day I shall have a photo shoot and then I'll put up my picture as the header of my blog. Hee hee.

Anyway, this video made me cry so much. It's really touching. It teaches life's lessons on learning how to appreciate your family members as well as those who care for you. A short but really inspiring clip. I'm so proud of the students who made this video. They are from ITE College East, where I graduated from before going to the polytechnic. :) I miss my ITE days.

Let me quote the two questions at the end of the video.

  1. Have you been treating your family members well?
  2. Have you neglected someone who cares for you?
Prepare a box of tissue. You might just need it. :)
